    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    • Develop project plans, estimates, and bids, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
    • Obtain necessary permits and approvals from regulatory authorities.
    • Prepare and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and monitoring project costs through the construction process.
    • Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
    • Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying critical path activities and milestones.
    • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
    • Anticipate and mitigate potential delays or disruptions to the construction schedule.
    • Implement quality control measures to ensure that workmanship meets or exceeds project specifications.
    • Enforce safety protocols and regulations to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries on the job site.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and progress.
    • Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize project disruptions.

    WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

    • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a construction manager, with a track record of successfully completing commercial construction projects.
    • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
    • Willingness to travel one or two nights per week (on average) to job sites in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Kentucky, Michigan, and other states.
    • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate team members.
    • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
    • Ability to develop and improve vendor partnerships.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and with a process improvement-oriented mindset.
    • Strong time management skills with ability to independently manage projects with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to multi-task, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail/quality.
    • Self-motivation with a strong sense of urgency and “whatever it takes” mentality.
    • High integrity and core values.
    • Team focused with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
    • Rapid problem-solving abilities and confident in decision making/critical thinking.
