Digital Marketing Director develops and implements the digital marketing strategy and leads tactical operations to increase product demand, enhance sales, identify additional sales channels, attract traffic to the company website, and promote an online presence. Utilizes search engine optimization (SEO) analytics and search engine marketing (SEM) techniques to increase traffic to the website. Being a Digital Marketing Director leads the development, curation, and deployment of compelling content to attract, engage and retain visitors and promote sales. Employs social media, email, and mobile marketing campaigns. Additionally, Digital Marketing Director reviews online statistics, marketplace trends, and best practices to optimize online marketing performance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Digital Marketing Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Digital Marketing Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

    • Understanding web strategy and delivery, end-to-end ideation, content strategy, wireframes/design concepts, and development production. Comfortable managing and applying digital strategy across each area of the delivery lifecycle;
    • Demonstrating familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and their role in digital experience platforms (DXP); components/templates, custom solutions and impacts for back-end development vs front-end delivery;
    • Demonstrating knowledge of user journeys, content funnels and cycles, and determining KPIs/success metrics against site destinations, consulting through web page objectives and UX based on content intent
    • Showcasing knowledge about the relevance of website information architecture; understands web taxonomy and utilizing opportunities to leverage across digital channels;
    • Optimizing and influencing online customer engagement;
    • Gathering and translating requirements for development;
    • Collaborating with leaders to manage pwc.com/us including the IA, content strategy and the rollout of features and functionality;
    • Adopting data driven strategies that support sales and marketing efforts;
    • Working cross functionally with designers, content specialist, technical developers, Account Managers, marketing, PR and data analysts to deliver industry leading digital experiences;
    • Consulting with internal stakeholder groups on new and existing features and functionality, custom development requests and content effectiveness;
    • Employing UAT and UT testing to measure audience engagement and feature deployments to quantify the business benefit/impact;
    • Performing and sharing competitive research on trends and user adoption strategies;
    • Understanding design & development cycles such as wireframing, design concepts, business requirements, development cadence;
    • Exhibiting knowledge of creating personalized web experiences, audience segmentation, and impacts to content strategy;
    • Understanding marketing technology stack impacts to digital strategy;
    • Managing multiple, concurrent projects in various phases of ideation, execution, or delivery;
    • Identifying new opportunities and developing technology solutions that drive value for PwC, including gathering input from our customers and internal/external sources, justifying and prioritizing roadmaps, development initiatives, testing and leaning into new experiences, analyzing competitors/ market trends and evaluating new technologies;
    • Building customer-facing web software or implementing enterprise system;
    • Possessing specialization in information design/ architecture, content strategy and user experience principles and industry leading practices;
    • Demonstrating experience with Google Suite or Adobe analytics specialization;
    • Possessing relationship and interpersonal skills as well as managing multidisciplinary teams (indirect or direct) to meet strategic objectives;
    • Working independently with an ambitious attitude;
    • Operating successfully in areas of uncertainty and ambiguity, while being self-motivated and calm under pressure; and,
    • Demonstrating technical acumen with an ability to understand technology solutions and potential trade offs while communicating technical concepts to business users;
