Position Duties:
1. Social Media and Digital Presence Management:
- Create, post, and manage engaging content across social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Collect and edit video content for ads and social media channels.
- Run Facebook & Instagram ads.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries from potential clients.
- Add photos to the Google My Business page to enhance the online presence.
- Monitor online reviews and respond appropriately to maintain the company’s reputation.
- Analyze social media metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.
2. Relationship Building:
- Identify and establish relationships with property management companies to become their preferred roofing service provider.
- Network with insurance agents to secure referrals and partnerships for roofing repair and replacement projects related to insurance claims.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking meetings to expand professional contacts and generate business opportunities.
3. Lead Generation and Follow-Up:
- Actively prospect and cold-call potential clients to generate leads and schedule appointments for roofing assessments.
- Follow up on leads promptly and professionally to convert prospects into customers.
- Maintain a CRM system to track leads, interactions, and outcomes for reporting and analysis purposes.
4. Market Research and Analysis:
- Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and industry developments related to roofing services.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
- Analyze data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of business development efforts and make recommendations for improvement.
5. Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align business development strategies with overall company objectives.
- Provide support and assistance to colleagues as needed to achieve collective goals and objectives.
- Meet with the team weekly to review performance and discuss strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred (or attending school for and graduating soon.)
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing.
- Strong communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in social media management tools, graphic design tools and video editing software.
- Familiarity with SEO/SEM and Google Analytics.
- Creative type and able to edit photos and videos for social media posts.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align business development strategies with overall company objectives.
- Provide support and assistance to colleagues as needed to achieve collective goals and objectives.
- Meet with team weekly to review performance and discuss strategies.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed to potential referral partners.
