We're looking for an enthusiastic and professional Host/Hostess and Dining Room Attendant to join our upscale casual restaurant. The ideal candidate will be welcoming to our guest, have excellent customer service skills, have the ability to maintain a positive attitude at all times, understands technology to do basic computer tasks, and must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for making reservations for guests, answering phone calls, returning messages, setting up tables for guests, greeting guests, seating them in a timely manner, and ensuring that their dining experience is enjoyable.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Answer phone calls and take reservations.
• Manage the wait list and seating chart.
• Provide guests with menus and answer questions about menu items.
• Assist with setting up tables for large parties.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Provide fast and efficient service.

The Dining Room Assistant will assist the Host with setting up tables and seating guests as well as assist Servers with running food, refilling water glasses, clearing tables, sanitizing tables, and resetting tables.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
