DINING ROOM SHIFT SUPERVISOR (Part-time/Seasonal/Full-time Opportunities Available)

We have an immediate opening for a FOH shift supervisor in our restaurant. This position will report directly to the Restaurant, Bar & Events Director. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where hospitality, member service and strong attention to detail comes naturally.

You have a strong hospitality and service background. Impressing guests and creating relationships with patrons comes naturally. You can “read the room”. This position is perfect for a motivated individual who is looking to nurture and grow their career.

• You have FOH supervisor/management experience in a full-service restaurant.
• You are a team player. You are willing to adapt, accept instructions, and coach your team members for success.
• You have solid knowledge of restaurant operations.
• You are (or will become) ServSafe Food Handler & TIPS Certified. We will pay for certification.

Job Type: Part-time/Seasonal with the opportunity to pick up bar and server shifts for additional hours and pay as well as advancement given the right candidate.

Salary: $22 - $26 per hour based on experience.

The right candidate will have the opportunity to pick-up shifts as bartender and server when not scheduled as supervisor to increase hours/$$

Schedule:

• Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends and some holidays as needed

Requirements & Experience:

• You have successfully supervised/managed a full-service restaurant staff for a minimum of 1 years.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required.
• College Degree in Hospitality or similar field (preferred but not required)
• Restaurant Server and/or bartender (2 years required)

About the Position:

The Dining Room Supervisor is responsible for but not limited to:

• Supporting the management team by overseeing and leading restaurant operations
• Assist in the management of dining room reservations
• Ensuring a quality member experience
• Opening and Closing the restaurant/club
• Overseeing workflow to assist employees in knowing their job responsibilities & delegated duties
• Helping train new employees while adhering to club policies
• Assist with managing employee schedules & maintaining personnel records
• Coaching employees by providing constructive feedback
• Addressing inquiries/complaints/feedback from members & employees
• Monitoring setup/breakdown of the restaurant including side work and responsibilities of FOH staff
• Table section and maintenance support
• Member intervention, table touches, food allergy awareness and support
• Inventory management & reporting
• Maintaining a professional relationship and thorough communication with Restaurant, Bar and Event Director as well as the Executive Chef and General Manager.
