We’re looking for a professional, experienced housekeeping manager to perform impeccable housekeeping services and provide our guests with a safe and clean environment for an exceptional stay with us. You’ll lead the housekeeping team, ensure team members comply with high standards of cleanliness and sanitation protocol, and oversee the housekeeping department budget. Experience in a supervisory role overseeing housekeeping staff or a similar role is required. If you have excellent communication skills and leadership experience, we highly encourage you to apply.
Compensation:
$15 - $18 hourly
Responsibilities:-
Monitor all the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including the cleanliness of all guest rooms and public areas daily
- Document areas cleaned by room attendants and report any issues such as room damage or maintenance requests to the front office
- Oversee the housekeeping department budget, take inventory, and ensure there is a stock of adequate cleaning supplies
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is in proper working condition and make arrangements for repairs as needed
- Hire and train housekeeping staff to perform cleaning duties and deliver customer satisfaction to our expectations
- Keep a record of areas cleaned by room attendants and make a note of any issues such as room damage or maintenance requests

Order cleaning supplies as needed, control and maintain inventory to ensure everything is adequately stocked and manage the department budget

To manage all facets of the Housekeeping Department ensuring high levels of guest service and satisfaction, including guest rooms, laundry, public areas, department storage areas and work areas

Enforce standard procedures for the acceptance, security, and return on guest lost and found items

Compiles and reports accurate status of guest rooms to front office

Flexibility to work various schedules as business demands including weekends and holidays
Qualifications:-
The ideal applicant is an experienced leader who demonstrates great attention to detail and customer service skills
- This position requires a high school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years experience in hospitality or guest services
- At least 3 years of experience in a senior role in the housekeeping department
- Strong understanding of environmental services (EVS) including cleaning processes and how to use a variety of cleaning supplies and equipment
