  • This role collaborates with individuals throughout the organization and shares best practices where needed. This role will be focused on driving improvement with a strong track record of managing teams and cross-functional relationships, as well as a solid understanding of GAAP, SOX, and process control. Below is a sample of role responsibilities: • Manages SOX compliance. • Manages external and internal control audits. • Manages the audit team and audit assignments from planning through reporting, focusing on continuous improvement and results. • Manages the development/updating of standard operating procedures, staff training programs, and administrative procedures. • Performs special projects or investigations to support Corporate Compliance function. • Collaborates with other departments to direct compliance issues to appropriate channels for investigation and resolution. • Leads ongoing development of educational and training tools that seeks to ensure all employees are knowledgeable of and comply with pertinent process policy controls. • Continually evaluates the Company's risk profile and builds a program to address new or emerging risks. • Develops team members utilizing an effective combination of training programs and project-based learning opportunities. • Proactively communicate and escalate issues and concerns to team leadership. • Develop and maintain positive partnerships within finance and cross functional teams. YOUR PROFILE • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent. • 5 years of Auditing, Sarbanes-Oxley, Accounting, and Finance experience. • Leadership and people management skills; ability to direct and motivate staff and others. • Strong knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and compliance standards. • Strong organizational skills, problem-solving, with excellent communication skills. • Team-player who can also work independently with attention to detail and deadlines
