Job Summary/Description:
We are seeking an organized and creative professional to lead our digital sales efforts in the role of Digital Sales Manager. This position works in tandem with the General Sales Manager on business development for the station, specifically championing digital sales. The successful candidate will work closely with local businesses and our Account Executives to provide unique marketing solutions and will be responsible for achieving the station's digital advertising budget. The successful individual must be proficient with current digital marketing trends, products, and solutions. The successful candidate will serve as the digital coach and advisor to the local sales team and advertisers.
Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Driving digital revenue growth and ensuring all digital budgets and goals are met or exceeded with a focus on new local direct business
- Providing digital training to the sales team
- Assisting Account Executives in presenting and closing digital business
- Developing sales presentations and collateral using up-to-date research materials
- Maintaining campaign tracking, delivery, and reporting to ensure campaign success
- Overseeing digital pricing and revenue forecasting
- Promoting a winning, positive culture
- Working at a partnership/consultative level as an expert in digital advertising with Multimedia Consultants and advertisers
- Working in tandem with the General Sales Manager on revenue generation strategy and forecasting
- Oversight of all digital sales products, inventory management and pricing strategies
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Strong leadership skills, highly organized
- Comfortable holding team members accountable to their budgets and goals while helping them achieve success
- Ability to translate and communicate problems into opportunities
- Presentation experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, manage time wisely, and prioritize projects and people
- Strong computer skills, proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, social media, etc.
- The ideal candidate would have a minimum of two years of digital sales experience
