    Spread across our expansive grounds, The Far Out Lounge and Stage offers a dynamic and immersive experience for patrons and performers alike. With three distinct stages, including the state-of-the-art SL250, a medium-sized outdoor stage, and an intimate indoor stage, our venue provides the perfect setting for every type of event – from epic outdoor concerts to cozy acoustic sets.     Position Overview:

    As the Music Venue Manager, you'll step into a role where every day brings new possibilities and opportunities to curate unforgettable experiences. From blockbuster music festivals to intimate indoor showcases, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the cultural landscape of Austin. Additionally, you'll have the chance to develop your promoter skills by leveraging your creativity and contacts in the music and entertainment industry to create your own events, further expanding the reach and impact of The Far Out.

    Responsibilities:

    • Spearhead the curation and booking of a diverse lineup of artists and events that resonate with our eclectic audience.
    • Forge partnerships and negotiate contracts with performers, vendors, and sponsors to ensure the success of each event.
    • Oversee all aspects of event production, from stage setup and sound engineering to vendor coordination and crowd management.
    • Lead a team of dedicated staff members, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
    • Develop innovative marketing strategies to promote events and drive ticket sales, leveraging The Far Out Lounge and Stage's stellar reputation and industry connections.
    • Manage finances and budgets with precision, maximizing revenue streams while upholding our commitment to delivering exceptional experiences.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in music venue management, event production, or festival organization, with a track record of success in a fast-paced environment.
    • Exceptional organizational and logistical skills, coupled with a keen eye for detail.
