POSITION DUTIES
There are multiple positions available. These important roles make professional decisions regarding the level of impairment, the capacity for work, and the vocational rehabilitation potential of applicants with disabilities under the Social Security Act. The positions efficiently process adult and child initial and reconsideration claims, as well as initial continuing disability review claims.� Position duties include:� Determines eligibility for Social Security Disability benefits and Supplemental Security Income Payments.� Secures appropriate medical, vocational and psychological documentation as required by established federal standards.� Provides general information about Disability Determination Services.� Uses medical terminology to accurately describe impairments.� Evaluates evidence to determine the degree and severity of disabilities in each electronic case.� Makes recommendations to award or deny benefits.� Writes determinations and defends the assessments.

Education: Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree. Experience: None.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
