Job summary:
The Clinical Manager (CM) will deliver direct substance abuse counseling to clients and provide supervision of clinical staff in an outpatient setting. This position will assist in offering high quality of care to CORNERSTONE HEALTH RECOVERY clients and families by creating an environment which is safe, respectful, and positive. This position will start as part time but has the very realistic potential to become full time as the Program grows and we complete our CARF Certification.
Qualifications:
Required:
Master’s degree in human services and four (4) years’ experience in substance use disorder services
Chemical Dependency Counselor II certification or QAP equivalent or the ability to
acquire CDC II or QAP equivalent within three (3) years of date of hire (If applicable)
Demonstrated track record of effectively supervising clinical staff
Experience in:
Delivering direct therapeutic services
Treatment planning and treatment team participation
Case management
Care Coordination
Ability to pass a drug screening and State of Alaska background check
Preferred:
Experience in Substance Abuse or a Mental Health field
Licensed: LPC, LCSW, or related field.
Credentialed to bill major insurance companies as well as government payees

Supervise and facilitate treatment groups using CORNERSTONE HEALTH RECOVERY approved treatment curricula.
Responsible to:
Develop written treatment plans using the client’s strengths and individualized
treatment needs. The treatment plan must meet the standards authorized by the
overseeing state agency. Aid the client to participate in the development of this
treatment plan. Be responsible to make certain all treatment plans meet
proper standards
Prepare and conduct individual counseling sessions with client centered
interventions to meet the needs, goals and individual strengths and limitations of
each client
Facilitate clinical treatment team meetings and treatment reviews of intensive
outpatient client progress every thirty days per CHR policies and
procedures and CARF standards
Provide intervention services telephonically or in person during scheduled work hours.
Oversee clinical staff recommendations on disposition of clients. Decisions will be based on progress/lack of progress and treatment needs. Appropriate referral for continued care or maintenance will be made at each discharge
Complete timely documentation for each therapeutic intervention and treatment plan
review. All documentation is to comply with overseeing state or federal guidelines.
Additional reports and request may be made from the Board, Operations, or Practice Manager.
Participate in the development and evaluation of the program curricula and follow the guidelines set forth in the CORNERSTONE HEALTH RECOVERY policies and procedures to receive approval of curriculum changes

Unlicensed: $40/session hour (face to face contact or billable hour)
