Disaster Recovery Manager manages the design, implementation, and communication of business continuance and disaster recovery plans and processes that ensure the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology. Conducts risk analysis to identify critical operations and systems that are core to continued business operations in the event of a disruption. Being an Disaster Recovery Manager monitors and tests the plans and back up systems. Manages the contracts with required vendors for off-site and other resources required for business continuation and recovery. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Manager develops and deploys training, documentation, and communication of disaster procedures to the organization. Develops service level recovery standards and agreements with vendors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Disaster Recovery Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Disaster Recovery Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. What is a Case Manager?
A case manager provides intensive case management and assists in execution of treatment protocols to clients with substance-abuse related problems within our Residential & Outpatient Program.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Conducting comprehensive needs assessments
Assisting with acquiring community assistance
Ensures adherence to program rules, policies, and regulations
Promote awareness of the program within the community
Facilitate Task and Orientation Groups
Daily Scope of Work:
60% Client engagement & interaction: Hands-on assistance with case needs.
40%: Documentation
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday - various shifts; 1 weekend a month
Required Skills & Education:
2 years experience as case manager in behavioral health setting
Mental health or substance abuse professional experience and/or personal experience
Adept in working with a culturally diverse client population
Active listener
Firm in setting standards
Adept in setting healthy workplace boundaries
Preferred Skills/Education/Certifications:
· Certified Peer Specialist or Certified CARES professional
· Individual seeking to get certified in the above
· College Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Therapy, etc.
