Dispatcher Responsibilities and Duties:

• Ability to communicate effectively, with clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Dispatcher must show proficient computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook experience.
• Experience with DOT standards
• Inside Sales will need to create and quote rental agreements
• Dispatcher is responsible for supporting telephone orders from customers and Outside Sales personnel by obtaining accurate information and requirements including when, where and type of equipment needed at jobsites, select equipment availability from inventory and enter in the computer to finalize details of deliveries
• Inside Sales experience or customer service skills with knowledge of construction / aerial rental equipment industry preferred
• Requires steady work hours and potential overtime
• Dispatcher must be able to multitask have strong communication, organization and telephone skills. Must be able to handle and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner and provides customer satisfaction
• Dispatcher handles pickups and deliveries of equipment; routing Semi-Trucks and assist with GPS and other electronic monitoring devices
• Inside Sales must provide manager with updates on Key Accounts and open items
• Able to work well in an open environment and communicate / receive feedback from other Inside Sales staff including Supervisors, other branches, Service Mechanics and delivery drivers
• Fluency in English

Dispatcher Requirements and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Class A CDL License preferred
• Current Valid Medical Certification Card w/ Class A CDL
• Dispatcher related experience may include retail industry experience in customer service, sales representative, counter or parts manager or account manager
• Should have familiarity or experience with various types of rental or industrial companies
• Dispatcher must have knowledge of the local and surrounding areas.
