Distribution Manager manages and deploys the operational strategy, business processes, and systems for overall distribution operations, including order fulfillment, warehousing, inventory management, and transportation. Communicates and monitors production measurement metrics and sets performance targets at the team and individual level for all distribution-related functions that align with company objectives and are within regulatory guidelines. Being a Distribution Manager utilizes data-driven analytical tools and systems to continuously monitor operations, identify inefficiencies, and develop optimization strategies. Troubleshoots and resolves escalated operational issues. Additionally, Distribution Manager ensures all operations adhere to industry safety protocols and comply with OSHA, DOT, or other governmental regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Distribution Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Distribution Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Who We Are Looking For
Starmaker Distribution is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Retail Merchandiser to join our team, serving various stores in the Manchester area and beyond. If you have a flair for organization, an eye for detail, and enjoy being on the move, you might be the perfect fit for our team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to different retail locations in Manchester and surrounding areas to stock, organize, and present merchandise in line with our high standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and coordinate with management on product replenishment needs.
- Create and maintain attractive promotional displays to enhance customer engagement and sales.
Qualifications:
- Willingness to travel within the regional territory on a regular basis.
- Previous experience in merchandising, retail, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a merchandising role or relevant field.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must have a reliable vehicle for transportation.If you are a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and have a passion for merchandising, we want to hear from you.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $40,000.00 per year
