Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Distribution Manager to oversee our distribution operations. As the Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective movement of products from our warehouse to customers or retail locations. You will play a critical role in optimizing processes, managing inventory, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

· Leadership

• Develop key performance metrics, report and track results on measures including on-time shipping, pick efficiency, inventory accuracy, etc.
• Provide leadership in the facility in all aspects of the operations from daily execution through continual process improvements.
• Drive safety initiatives.

· Personnel Management

• Approve vacations and overtime, provide annual reviews, check timecards.
• Coach, mentor, lead and train team members.
• Lead and model the right way.

· Order Management

• Standardize shipping, receiving and replenishment processes and drive best practices with other internal DC facilities.
• Collect and organize detailed shipping information for all top customers.
• Streamline processes to maximize efficiency, space utilization and minimize travel time.
• Participate in internal meetings to discuss upcoming shipping requirements, on-time delivery and any current shipping related issues.
• Develop and implement a shipping scorecard for our customers.
• Work closely with shipping clerks to help with any current issues and to create a more efficient process.
• Improve pick and other labor efficiency metrics to drive overall operations performance.

· Inventory

• Ensure all inbound materials are received efficiently and accurately.
• Responsible for cycle count process, standardization and reporting of inventory accuracy metrics. Root cause and develop process improvements for inventory accuracy issues.
• Work with accounting department in inventory reconciliation.
• Manage inbound reverse logistics and outbound warranty processes, receipts and shipments.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Distribution Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
- Proficiency in process improvement methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Experience with 3PL (Third Party Logistics) providers is a plus

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
