Description

• Provide planning, direction and control of all available resources for ensuring timely, damage-free loading/unloading of freight.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of our dockworkers.
• Train new employees in their job duties
• Ensure all work is performed according to company approved procedures, standards and specifications.
• Performs additional duties as necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics and dock operations, with 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse and distribution center operations.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and experience implementing safety programs.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Spanish speaking (Bilingual)
