PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The BIM Manager should have 5 to 10 years managing the BIM process on large projects, including relevant experience with BIM in design, drafting or engineering environments.
- Familiar with ACC Revit, ACAD, 3D Civil, and Navisworks.
- Experience with supervising BIM Coordinators and BIM Production team, and managing multiple staff in drafting and production.
- Responsible for managing the clash detection process with project operations staff, subcontractors, vendors and design consultants.
- Respond to the needs and interface with the Project Management Team, Field Operations, and Survey department.
- Manage the As-built documentation, providing regular “redline” as-builts to design consultants for their incorporation into the record set.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, implement and enforce BIM Project Standards.
- Organize the BIM protocol for the project.
- Provide supervision of out-sourced BIM production.
- Responsible for maintaining the project’s BIM Budget.
- Supply technical support for all BIM software.
- Interact on BIM project standards coordination with the Government.
- Provide training of in-house BIM users.
- Maintain BIM document archive and retrieval for projects.
- Maintain BIM coordination and production/drawing schedules consistent with the demands of the project.
- Conduct project related model reviews.
- Develop and maintain BIM files for project closeout.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to work as part of a team and also independently when necessary.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to manage time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals
- Ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance.
- Must have experience in PC based Windows environments, and able to put together word documents, spreadsheets, etc.
Starting Salary: $105,000.00/yr
