Document Controller to join our team out of our office located in
Emeryville, California.
Position Responsibilities
- Ensures compliance with corporate document conventions, including numbering and approvals.
- Liaises with the Project Managers to establish document distribution plans for each assigned project.
- Maintains document distribution systems and schedules for assigned projects based on client, project, and contractor requirements.
- Expedites review, approval, and distribution of supplier and internally produced project documents.
- Establishes and maintains electronic indices of project documents and generates reports that meet project requirements.
- Supports preparation of transmittals of engineering and procurement documents.
- Arranges catalog, package, long-term storage, and disposal of project documents at the time of project closeout.

The salary offered for this role is between $72,000 and $109,000 but actual salary offered is dependent on experience, skill set and education.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 2-3 years of document control experience in the Architecture / Engineering / Construction industry (A/E/C).
- Proven work experience using File Sharing sites for document posting, uploading, downloading, and manipulation (SharePoint, FTP, etc.).
- Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
