Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Billing Clerk. As a Billing Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately processing and recording invoices, maintaining billing records, and assisting with account analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks, journal entries, and data entry.

Duties:
- Process and record invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Prepare and submit customer invoices
- Review invoices for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist with account analysis to ensure accurate billing
- Maintain billing records and documentation
- Generate reports related to billing activities
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing issues
- Provide support for month-end closing activities

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Billing Clerk or similar role preferred
- Proficient in QuickBooks, PeopleSoft, or similar accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles, including debits and credits
- Excellent data entry skills with a focus on speed and accuracy (10-key typing)
- Familiarity with journal entries and account reconciliation
- Experience in public accounting is a plus
