Document Imaging Operator operates document imaging equipment to create electronic files or archives. Prepares documents for scanning, scans documents, and verifies quality of digital images. Being a Document Imaging Operator indexes and stores images according to organization guidelines. Troubleshoots and makes adjustments to equipment when necessary. Additionally, Document Imaging Operator typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Document Imaging Operator possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Responsible for operating and maintaining the furnace parameters within product specifications including start up and shut down sequences and general maintenance to the furnace equipment by performing the following duties:
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Inspects furnace equipment for damage and wear.
2. General maintenance to the furnace equipment.
3. Prepares pneumatic system for operation.
4. Ensures Startup silo, Pumping System, unloading system and furnace control panel are activated for production.
5. Inspects/Cleans Inner furnace liner for residual material
6. Prepares silicone system for correct operation
7. Inspects/Refills coating mixture in drums
8. Inspects/Cleans silicone spray jets
9. Responds to furnace operator for support on pneumatic, pump, furnace, & silicone systems
10. Frees furnace from clogs.
11. Serves as back-up for Furnace Operator when needed.
12. Responsible for cleaning work area.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
