Document Imaging Operator operates document imaging equipment to create electronic files or archives. Prepares documents for scanning, scans documents, and verifies quality of digital images. Being a Document Imaging Operator indexes and stores images according to organization guidelines. Troubleshoots and makes adjustments to equipment when necessary. Additionally, Document Imaging Operator typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Document Imaging Operator possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.     Key Accountabilities:

    • Legal Document Preparation:
      • Prepare a wide range of legal documents for brands, affiliates, and corporate clients, including but not limited to Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs), Franchise Agreements (FAs), and corporate governance documents.
      • Handle the preparation of initial FDDs, amendments, renewals, and various types of legal agreements.
      • Conduct basic word processing for legal documents, ensuring they meet our high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
    • Document Management:
      • Manage both digital and hard copy document filing systems, with a specific focus on FA’s, Intellectual Property (IP), and corporate governance documents.
      • Maintain our data room, ensuring that documents are organized, accessible, and up-to-date.
      • Conduct regular document audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
    • Administrative Support:
      • Assist the Legal Team with clerical and administrative tasks as directed, including legal filings and corporate governance-related activities.
      • Collaborate with team members to streamline document-related processes and improve efficiency.

    Required Qualifications:

    • GED or high school diploma required
    • Minimum of one (1) years of document preparation & record management experience required
    • Successful completion of MS Word proficiency and detail-orientation assessments required 

    Additional Qualifications:

    • Microsoft Office Specialist: Word Associate certification preferred
    • Previous familiarity with legal document preparation & record management preferred
