Document Imaging Supervisor oversees personnel responsible for operating document imaging equipment for use in the creation of images or text. Implements procedures for scanning documents and verifies the quality of digital images. Being a Document Imaging Supervisor manages images according to the organization's guidelines. Delegates workflow and trains equipment operators. Additionally, Document Imaging Supervisor troubleshoots and makes adjustments to equipment when necessary. Ensures proper use of equipment. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. This position offers an optional $2500.00 award for a 2 year commitment to FHN to external candidates.
Perform Radiography examinations and related patient care duties while adhering to the guidelines of the ARRT professional code of conduct and the regulations of IEMA department of Nuclear safety.
Education: Associate's degree (A.S. or A.A.S.) from two-year college program or diploma from a two-year hospital based program, with a specialty in radiologic technology; and six to twelve months related experience.
