Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Drafter in our Metal Fabrication Engineering department.

Responsibilities:

- Detailed oriented, good communication skills, with a strong focus on accuracy.

-Team player with good organizational skills with the ability to work with limited supervision.

-Experience working with blueprints of sheet metal fabrication parts preferred.

-Ability to apply welding symbols, dimensions, tolerances, etc.

-Proficient in 3D SolidWorks modeling & AutoCAD software.

-Support metal fabrication engineering team by converting 2D part drawings into accurate 3D models, utilizing company established modeling practices.

-Coordinate / Communicate effectively with other members of engineering team during all phases of each task or project given.

-Ability to work well in both a team environment, or independently.

-Follow written and or verbal instructions for all tasks given as needed for accurate and timely completion of projects.

-Participate in cross training opportunities helping to produce a more effective and efficient fabrication engineering team by learning the basics of machine programming.

- Proficient using Microsoft Office tools.

- Follow written and or verbal instructions for all tasks given as needed for accurate and timely completion of projects.

-Provide engineering data when fabrication support projects are required.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
