Drilling Engineer is responsible for the design and implementation of oil and gas wells. Performs design evaluations and recommends alterations to improve safety, costs, and efficiency. Being a Drilling Engineer may conduct risk assessment and cost estimation. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Additionally, Drilling Engineer is familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field. Typically reports to supervisor or manager. We drill water wells for a living. Need someone that 18 and older that has a valid driver license, can lift over 50 lbs, and willing to work hard. You will lift casing, dig holes, lift bags of benseal, change oil on trucks. If you can work with forklift that is a plus. Each day is different. We work mainly in Iowa (Jones, Johnson, linn, cedar and benton county). If you have CDL you would start $26/hr
