    SUMMARY

    Overseeing the daily operations of the branch following established policies and branch procedures, ensures compliance with all regulations as they relate to functions within the supervision, including Bank Secrecy Act. Operations Supervisor supports Operations Officer in the following functional areas:

    DUTIES

    · Supervise daily operations, workflow and oversee branch staff.

    · Review and approve transactions within authorized limits.

    · Review daily operations related reports.

    · Answer customer and various inquiries including problem solving and assigning appropriate follow-up and action recommendations.

    · Assist Operations Officer in timely completing monthly branch certifications and operational reviews.

    · Utilize good judgment to ensure that any potential loss situation that could adversely affect the Bank is given an adequate level of visibility with management as well as appropriate units within the Bank.

    · Provide guidance and assistance to branch colleagues in resolving procedural and personnel administration problems; participate in teambuilding, mentoring and staff training.

    · Promote and cross-sell the Bank’s services and products.

    · Back up Operations Officer duties during the absence of Operations Officer.

    · Accept other duties as deemed appropriate by supervisor.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education: College degree with business classes preferred but not mandatory.

    Experience: 4-5 years branch banking experience preferably with supervisory experience. Thorough knowledge of Bank products and services.

    Skills/ Ability: PC literate(with typing ability). Must be detail oriented and well organized. Strong communication skills and bilingual (English/Mandarin) preferred.
