Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Counselor to join our team. As a Counselor, you will provide counseling services to individuals and groups, focusing on behavioral health and addiction counseling. Your role will involve crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, and case management. Duties:

- Conduct individual counseling sessions to assess clients' needs and develop treatment plans

- Facilitate group therapy sessions to address specific behavioral health issues

- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in need

- Utilize ICD-9 codes to accurately document client diagnoses and treatment progress

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment modalities

- Develop and implement treatment plans based on client goals and objectives

- Monitor client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary

- Provide addiction counseling services, including education, relapse prevention, and coping strategies

- Engage in case management activities, such as coordinating referrals and connecting clients with community resources

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling or related field

- Valid state licensure or certification as a Counselor (if applicable)

- Experience in behavioral health or addiction counseling preferred

- Knowledge of clinical counseling techniques and evidence-based practices

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,123.00 - $43,356.00 per year
