The e-file Program and Analysis team is seeking a highly motivated self-starter, who possesses excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills. If you enjoy collaborating with business and Information Technology (IT) partners, this is the perfect position for you. We have flexible schedules in a hybrid (remote and on campus) work environment. Under the general direction of the Information Technology Supervisor II, the analyst performs a wide variety of tasks related to e-file program analysis, identifying business and technical system requirements for annual filing season changes and enhancements. Additionally, this role works as a technical system analyst and provides assistance to external e-file software partners who participate in the e-file program. The incumbent has the ability to identify, analyze and evaluate data, think logically and creatively to develop plans, solve problems, make recommendations, and support business functions. The analyst serves as a technical expert on departmental teams and completes studies and reports for existing programs used by the e-file team. Throughout the year, it may be necessary to alter the work schedule, or work extra hours due to operational needs. Extended vacation time is limited during critical annual changes (October-December).This position provides services which encompasses the Business Technology Management domain.

This position is eligible for remote-working within California based on departmental guidelines and operational need. FTB has a minimum in-office requirement of two days per week for all positions including those that are eligible for telework.
