Drywall Installer plans, installs, and repairs drywalls to cover walls, ceilings, soffits, shafts, and movable partitions in residential and commercial areas. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Drywall Installer may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Drywall Installer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. We are looking for a skilled Painter to fill a full-time position as part of a team that works in the residential, industrial, and commercial finishing industries. Applicant must be at least somewhat familiar with various paints, stains, varnishes, textures, etc. Applicant must have reliable transportation to and from various job sites/locations. Applicant must be willing to perform work as needed on various ladders/scaffolding/boom and scissor lifts. Applicant must supply the basic tools of the trade (e.g. brushes, handles, mud and taping tools, poles, drills, etc.). Painter whites and either boots or white tennis shoes are required. Shop will provide t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, etc. This position will initially be viewed as an apprenticeship until the applicant has shown their qualifications enough to be considered full-time. There will be many opportunities for wage increases.
