Responsibilities:
- Payroll Management:
- Process weekly payroll accurately and timely for all employees.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.
- Handle payroll inquiries and discrepancies with professionalism and efficiency.
- Accounting Tasks:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare financial reports and assist in month-end, quarterly and yearly closing procedures.
- Maintain the integrity of our financial records through meticulous account reconciliation and journal entry postings.
- General Duties:
- Perform HR duties regarding employee benefits and payroll-related matters.
- Assist with on-boarding of new employees, to include E-Verify.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits.
- Provide administrative support to the finance and executive teams.
- Support the accounting team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in payroll processing and general accounting functions.
- Proficiency in ERP software (e.g., Plexxis) or payroll software (e.g., ADP, QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
