EDP Audit Manager jobs in Milford, DE
EDP Audit Manager manages the auditing of data processing systems and operating procedures in accordance with established corporate standards for efficiency, accuracy, and security. Determines and recommends improvements in current standards and the implementation of system changes. Being an EDP Audit Manager develops organizational audit programs to continuously maintain the effectiveness of data processing operations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, EDP Audit Manager typically reports to top management. The EDP Audit Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- CPA license
- Expertise in GAAP and GAAS
- Yellow Book and GAGAS experience a plus
- CaseWare experience a plus
- 7 years of public accounting experience with recent experience for mid-size companies in audit engagement planning, supervising, reviewing, and wrap-up
- Ability to develop audit team members and provide them regular feedback and guidance
- Ability to develop strong client relationships
- Ability to visit clients for fieldwork/meetings
