Determines and recommends improvements in current standards and the implementation of system changes. Being an EDP Auditor provides management with results of audits on applications, systems and programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, EDP Auditor typically reports to a manager. The EDP Auditor gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. An Auditor position is available with the City of Fort Worth Internal Audit Department. The Internal Audit Department assesses citywide risks and conducts audits to help ensure proper risk management and good governance. The Auditor is a full-time job with the City of Fort Worth Internal Audit Department. The Auditor will perform a variety of audits activities within the department, including reviewing, analyzing and auditing administrative and financial operations in City departments; and performing a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility. Performing routine ton moderately complex auditing work. Conducting performance, financial, and compliance audits based upon a City-wide risk assessment and conformance with Government Auditing Standards. The selected candidate will receive direction from the City Auditor or other management or supervisory staff.
