If you have a passion to see people succeed and strive to be the best they can at work? The County of Adams Children and Youth agency is in search of someone to oversee new worker orientation as well as overall agency training that will enhance the knowledge and abilities of our staff. This position supports education and information to resource families, schools and community members that clarifies the role of the agency, serve as the liaison to the community in order to enhance public relations, and manages the internship program.
MERIT HIRE
Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree which includes or is supplements by successful completion of 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.
- And two years minimum of professional experience in the field of children, youth, and families.
- Must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
Clearances required to obtain prior to hire (see attachment for further explanation):
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 33)
- Pennsylvania State Police Request for Criminal Records Check (Act 34)
- FBI Criminal Background Check (Act 73)
