Location: Missoula, MT USA The Senior Refugee Education Specialist (RES) is responsible for IRC Missoula’s refugee school enrollment in alignment with organizational standards and expectations. The Senior RES focuses on bridging the cultural and linguistic gap between refugee families and schools as a liaison. Job duties include enrolling clients in school, building and maintaining a strong partnership with Missoula County Public Schools (MCPS) and other education partners, providing individual support to families/students on case-by-case basis, supporting and training the Early Childcare Education Specialist with daycare, and summer youth programs enrollment, and communicating directly to IRC team including the Health and Education Programs Coordinator. Responsibilities: Undergraduate degree required, studies in education, teaching, English language acquisition or similar field preferred. Minimum of one (1) year experience working with students required; public school, ESL experience preferred. Working Environment: Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates.
