Electric and Gas Operations Superintendent jobs in Anderson, IN

Purpose of Position: The basic purpose of a Superintendent is to make all jobs run as safely and efficiently as possible. The Superintendent coordinates progress, promotes quality, relays information, and protects the safety of all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning, organizing, and coordinating each job before, during, and after the crews arrive on the job.
• Scheduling, organizing, and coordinating all subcontractors.
• Scheduling equipment moves with lowboy drivers and the equipment manager.
• Scheduling multiple crews, coordinating their operations, and deciding the employees that compose each crew for a given day.
• Oversee the foremen's decisions.
• Filling out, e-mailing and delivering the daily work orders.
• Scheduling asphalt plant pickup 24/7.

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge in asphalt, grade, and concrete work.
• Requires several years of field/construction experience as a foreman.
• Ability to adapt to frequent changes in priority.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Must possess proficient computer skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead, motivate, coach, and counsel employees.
• Must have OSHA 30, First Aid & CPR training certification.

Compensation:

Dependent on experience and qualifications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72,808.00 - $109,213.00 per year
