Electrical Controls Engineer jobs in Lemoyne, NE

Brunel is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer for direct hire with our client located in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

In this role you will be responsible for preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance of plant production electrical and control equipment for our client who is a global leader in commercial explosives industry.

Description:

• Provide technical support, oversight, and direction to maintenance craftsmen, technicians, planners, and supervisors in the troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of plant production equipment.
• Direct and manage the condition monitoring contractors to ensure early detection of failures are identified and mitigated.
• Implement electrical integrity program elements and functional safety proof testing.
• Perform PCS program backups (PLCs, Servers, DCS, etc.)
• Assist in the development of ideas and opportunities to improve plant production equipment health and performance.
• Develop detailed procedures and processes for the care and maintenance of the production equipment.
• Organize and lead technical investigations, inspections, and surveys, and assist in analyzing PM, PdM, and historical data, to determine equipment risks and improvement opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3 years of experience in a petro-chemical plant, power generation, or similar heavy industry.
• Experience in SAP or other CMMS system.
• Familiarity with regulations governing Process Safety Management (PSM) and the application to the site engineering systems and operations.
• Must be willing and eligible to obtain a TWIC Card.
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player.
• Must be eligible to work for the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future.
