Full Service Electrical Contractor With A “NICHE”

Your niche will be to handle the daily operations and organization of a skilled trade company warehouse. We have high expectations that our Warehouse Manager will be proactive in developing the tactical logistics of the warehouse and maintaining order at all times. You will need to have strong attention to detail and a strong sense of organization.

This position reports directly to the President of the company and all Project Managers.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle the daily operations and organization of a skilled trade company warehouse.
• Proactively develop the tactical logistics of the warehouse and maintain order at all times.
• Control and manage inventory
• Manage shipping and receiving for all material and warehouse deliveries
• Inspect condition of tools and equipment.
• Tool repair and maintenance.
• Large tool allocation and tracking; communicate with all employees to ensure that equipment/tools are checked out and returned correctly.
• Perform general maintenance of equipment in warehouse.
• Enforce all company rules and regulations regarding equipment and inventory
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; material staging
• Handle all vehicle management including employee sign out and maintenance tracking/scheduling.
• Maintain general cleanliness and organization of the warehouse at all times.

Those Must Haves

• High School Diploma/GED required
• 2 or more years experience in a Warehouse Supervisory role, skilled trades industry, preferred
• Forklift Certification required
• CDL licensure preferred
• Relevant Distribution and Shipping knowledge required
• Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff
• Thorough knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
• Ability to pass a criminal background screening required
• Ability to meet the Physical Demands: Lift up to 50 lbs. and related physical activities and the ability to see color to discern color-coded wiring.

• Pay: Based on experience
