Job Details

Responsibilities:
-
Design electrical systems for commercial buildings, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarms

Develop and maintain electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
-
Collaborate with other members of the engineering team to ensure that designs are accurate, efficient, and meet project requirements

Conduct site visits to assess existing electrical systems and recommend improvements or upgrades
-
Work with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice and guidance
-
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and incorporate them into designs as appropriate
-
Provide support and guidance to junior members of the team as needed
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

3 years of experience in designing electrical systems for commercial buildings

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software programs
-
Strong understanding of lighting, power, fire alarms, low voltage, and other related areas

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members
-
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
-
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
-
Knowledge of micro grids and prime power generation is a plus
