The Engineering Intern/Co-op is responsible for assisting the Dexter Team with engineering project identification, project support, and project leadership as assigned by partnering and collaborating with the Engineering Team and Site Team.
More specifically, this position will be responsible for activities including but not limited to the following:
• Project definition, scoping and documented project plan• Continuous improvement• Capital projects• Safety improvements• Automation• Debottlenecking and capacity utilization• Time studies• Ergonomic studies and improvements• Troubleshooting equipment and processes• Plant layout• Project estimation• Material handling• Create documents, drawings, training as needed to support and complete project(s)• Perform other duties as assigned
To be successful in this role, you must pocess the following:
