ECI has an opening for a Civil Engineer Project Manager in our Ontario, CA office. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the coordination, management and oversight of civil projects associated with substation and transmission line facilities. Project components include grading design for site development, storm water conveyance and treatment research and design, preparation of Hydrology and other storm water reports dependent on the project locality, storm drain analysis, and access road design (paved and unpaved sections, vehicle maneuvering modeling, haul road analysis, etc.), among other land development requirements. Management responsibilities include scoping, budgeting, scheduling, proposals, monitoring, reporting, quality control and oversight of internal and subcontracted project teams conducting detailed design activities.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Civil Engineering; 10 years Project Management experience; excellent communication skills (verbal and written); ability to work in a team environment; attention to detail; and a willingness to meet fast-paced project schedules. California PE preferred. AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred. Additional knowledge that is preferred but not required includes retaining wall and perimeter wall design, public improvement design (i.e. curb, gutter, sidewalk, etc.), permitting, and jurisdictional specific plan preparation. Successful candidates may be subject to client mandated drug/alcohol testing and background screening, clean driving record.
