Electrical Engineering Supervisor supervises electrical engineers and technicians who design, develop, and test all aspects of electrical components, equipment, and machinery. Applies principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals. Being an Electrical Engineering Supervisor coordinates projects with other technical teams and vendors to ensure engineering projects are appropriately staffed and milestones are achieved. Monitors project deliverables, timelines, and milestones to increase efficiency, production quality, and volume. Additionally, Electrical Engineering Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Electrical Engineering Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Electrical Engineering Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. What you will do: The Director of Engineering will lead the Engineering and Maintenance teams with responsibilities over all product lines (including rotating electrical, mechanical, electronics, and EV battery) and product launch, product and process engineering, manufacturing engineering, maintenance, quality systems, and warranty.
Qualifications/Skills Preferred:- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
- At least ten years of related experience required.
- Extensive technical knowledge of engineering and product development.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills to develop and implement solutions
- Excellent financial skills and ability to analyze financial data in an open book environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Preferred APQP or AIAG experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
