JOB SUMMARY: *Must have experience with conduit*

This position exists to support the electrical division by installing EMT [electrical metal tubing], conduit, and rigid conduit into electrical panels and boxes, pulling and terminating appropriate wiring for equipment per electrical schematics.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate conduit bender and threader – manual and automatic
• Terminate wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or both components
• Repair and/or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools or power tools
• Test electrical systems for continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes to ensure compatibility and safety of system
• Construct and fabricate parts using hand tools and specifications
• Ensure work is in accordance with relevant codes
• Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
Work Experience: 2 years of electrical installation and repair experience
Education: Highschool diploma/ GED or equivalent
Related Experience:

• Working knowledge of current NEC codes
• Read production drawings fluently and capable of laying out all electrical plans
• Experience with all required hand and power tools associated with the electrical trade
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks; keep up in a fast-paced environment
• Modular building and/or solar installation experience
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, and heights. When participating in activities on the shop floor, the noise level in the work environment is typical for a fabrication shop and ear plugs may be used as necessary.
