Description: As a Maintenance Team Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and leading a team of skilled technicians and engineers. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems. This is a direct hire position, and we are seeking candidates with a strong background in electrical manufacturing.
This job will have the following responsibilities:Supervision and Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of technicians, electricians, and engineers.
- Create work schedules, assign tasks, and provide guidance to team members.
- Foster a positive work environment, encourage collaboration, and promote safety.
Technical Expertise:
- Utilize your extensive knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical and mechanical issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Equipment Maintenance and Repair:
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and calibration of electrical equipment.
- Familiarity with HVAC and refrigeration systems, including troubleshooting and repairs.
- Experience with plumbing systems within a manufacturing context.
Automation and Control Systems:
- Proficiency in PLC programming and working with VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives).
- Knowledge of power circuits and their integration into manufacturing machinery.
- Experience with conveyors, ensuring their proper functioning and maintenance.
Mechanical Skills:
- Familiarity with hydraulics, including maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of gears and their role in machinery.
Qualifications & Requirements:- Previous Experience: Candidates must have a proven track record in electrical manufacturing or a related field.
- Education: Highschool, Trade, GED. Degree is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and managerial abilities.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of commercial and industrial electrical systems.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members, builders, and architects.
- Safety Awareness: Familiarity with state electrical and safety codes.
- Problem-Solving: Advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Computer Literacy: Basic computer skills.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail.
