**Key Responsibilities:**
**Program Development & Curriculum Design:**
- **Curriculum Design:** Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop, review, and refine educational programs tailored to the cannabis industry.
- **Scheduling:** Plan and manage the schedule for all educational programs, ensuring alignment with industry trends and participant needs.
- **Program Evaluation:** Continuously assess the effectiveness of programs through participant feedback, data analysis, and industry research. Make recommendations for improvement.
- **Resource Management:** Coordinate the development of program materials, resources, and tools to support curriculum delivery.
**Marketing & Communications:**
- **Marketing Strategy:** Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote educational programs, events, and initiatives within the cannabis community.
- **Content Creation:** Create compelling content for various platforms, including social media, newsletters, websites, and print materials.
- **Branding:** Ensure consistent and effective branding across all marketing channels to enhance the organization's visibility and reputation.
- **Campaign Management:** Oversee digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, and email marketing, to drive enrollment and engagement.
**Community Outreach & Partnerships:**
- **Community Engagement:** Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, industry stakeholders, and advocacy groups to support program goals.
- **Partnership Development:** Identify and establish partnerships with key organizations, businesses, and influencers in the cannabis industry to enhance program reach.
- **Event Planning:** Organize and participate in community events, workshops, and conferences to promote the organization's mission and offerings.
- **Advocacy:** Represent the organization in public forums, advocating for the cannabis industry and promoting responsible practices.
**Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):**
- **DEI Strategy:** Integrate DEI principles into all program and outreach efforts, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for diverse audiences.
- **Training:** Provide training and resources on DEI best practices for staff, volunteers, and partners.
- **Community Representation:** Actively work to engage underrepresented groups in the cannabis industry, fostering a more inclusive environment.
**Qualifications:**
- **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Education, Public Relations, Business, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- **Experience:** Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in program development, marketing, or community outreach, preferably in the cannabis industry.
- **Industry Knowledge:** Deep understanding of the cannabis industry, including current trends, regulations, and challenges.
- **Marketing Skills:** Proven experience in digital marketing, content creation, and campaign management.
- **Communication Skills:** Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- **Project Management:** Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- **DEI Expertise:** Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion with experience in implementing DEI initiatives.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience in educational program development within the cannabis industry.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance within the cannabis sector.
- Experience working with community organizations and advocacy groups.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, social media management tools).
**Work Environment:**
- This position may require occasional travel for community outreach, events, and partnership development.
