Responsibilities:
- Organize and file project documentation for all project related functions (including but not limited to forms, drawings, changes, schedules, field reports, invoicing, permits and correspondence.)
- Develop a project submittal log and assist in the review and approval process (collect and organize submittal packages and product data, and organize all related tracking, files and distribution)
- Collect, review and save field supervision daily reports (project pictures, safety documentation and all other required field documents.)
- Organize, maintain, update and distribute drawings, specifications and other pertinent contract documents.
- Assist with the purchase of bulk material buy-outs. (Interface with vendors, request quotes, secure material pricing and ensure conformance with plans, specifications and all other contract documents and project requirements.)
- Track purchase orders, releases and deliveries and follow up with vendors as needed.
- Interface with subcontract partners (assist in the process of procurement and onboarding of subcontractor.)
- Assist in the collection and compliance review of all project related documents.
- Assist in drafting RFIs and manage the submission, tracking and distribution process as necessary.
- Review project logs (RFI's, Submittals, and schedules) with project teams.
- Prepare all project meeting agendas and associated attachments as directed by the Project Manager.
- Attend project meetings as requested by Project Manager and keep minutes for publishing to project team / documentation.
- Work with project managers to prepare monthly billings, and time and material billings.
- Prepare applicable operations and maintenance manuals for project close-out
- Other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in business administration, construction management, or related field, or
- 1-3 years experience working in project administration or a similar role within the construction industry
- Preferred experience working for an electrical construction contractor
