Electromechanical Assembler / Production Associate (I)

Mountain View, CA

Compensation : $20.00 / hr. - $24.00 / hr.

Client Summary :

Our robotics start-up client, based in Mountain View, California, specializes in developing advanced AI-driven robots aimed at simplifying domestic tasks and enhancing efficiency.

Their product offerings include autonomous, vision-based machines that utilize sophisticated 3D mapping technologies to operate independently in home environments.

While they are actively engaged in product research & development to augment existing designs, they are predominantly focused on growing their production team to meet commitments to customers as they gain a foothold in the consumer robotics market.

Job Summary :

We are currently seeking multiple skilled and motivated Electromechanical Assembly Technicians / Production Associates to join our client's Mountain View production team.

The ideal candidates will have at least six months of experience assembling small components and sub-assemblies according to work instructions, schematics, and diagrams.

Successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the timely completion of production tasks while maintaining high standards of quality.

Responsibilities :

• Accurately assemble robots following established procedures and work instructions.
• Adhere to industry best practices, standards, & company SOPs for consistent quality.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals within specified timelines.
• Communicate with shift supervisors to report and resolve production issues.
• Ensure the upkeep of tools and equipment, using them safely and efficiently.
• Monitor the production process for opportunities to improve efficiency and quality.
• Assist in training and developing new employees for seamless integration into the team.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience in a production environment assembling components & subassemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
