Electronic Data Interchange Specialist jobs in Appleton, WI

Responsibilities

• Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
• Reply to quote requests and enter customer orders
• Prospect and contact potential customers
• Find alternative products and solutions for customers when needed
• Work with suppliers and reps on expedites, pricing, opportunities, etc.
• Apply market knowledge and competitive information to the quote process
• Strategize with sales team to maximize sales volume and profitability
• Track sales volume and gross profit percentage; enhance where possible

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1-2 years of previous sales, customer service, and/or purchasing experience is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to aid in the ability to negotiate and build rapport with clients
• Strong user skills of Microsoft Office products
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
• Familiarity with interconnect products, passive components, industrial automation and knowledge of PPAP's is a plus
