Electronics Technician – PCBA Soldering

Job Description:

We are looking to hire a full time Electronics Technician for a role that will focus on install and repair of soldered through hole components on PC boards. The ideal candidate will have experience in PCBA repair, assembly and testing. The role will require excellent soldering skills with both Through hole and Surface mount components.

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and flexible person to join our team, with a mind for Continuous Improvement. The candidate should have a good eye for detail, and have good organizational skills. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and efficiently, as well as the ability to follow instructions closely.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Production soldering of PCBA board to meet IPC standards.
• Cleaning and inspection of in-station work
• Repair of PCBA’s.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Physical Assembly of Boards
• Follow all ESD requirements
• Clean and Maintain equipment in station

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in SMT and Through Hole soldering.
• PCBA or Electronics testing experience preferred
• Previous experience with repair, wave or selective solder equipment, inspection or other manufacturing processes is beneficial
• General computer literacy;
• Demonstrable problem solving skills;
• The ideal candidate will be curious, flexible, creative and team orientated.

Job Type: On-Site

Working Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Full-Time: Monday – Friday, 1st shift

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
