Job Posting Summary: Responsible for the design and debug of electronic circuits throughout the entire lifecycle of various electronic products.
Job Responsibilities:
- Test and debug circuits using customer requirements, schematics, bill of materials, PCB layout artwork, etc.
- Decompose and combine customer and internal requirements into specific hardware design requirements.
- Design or verify existing designs of electronic circuits to meet customer requirements.
- Develop or update tests to validate design against customer requirements.
- Collaborate with suppliers for component selection and supply chain management.
- Support calibration and end-of-line functional test stands and equipment.
- Research and implement innovative solutions in circuit designs and component selections.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in circuit design.
- Ability to design, develop, and verify schematics and circuit performance to requirements.
- Experience with Schematic Capture and Circuit Analysis Tools (Cadence or similar).
- Strong knowledge of Electrical Hardware and Microprocessor Architecture.
- Expertise in Power Electronics Design and Analysis of 3 Phase machines.
- Experience in Design, Build, and Test of Electrical Hardware (analog/digital) and Processor Interfaces.
- Skills in Bench, Test Stand, and Vehicle debug and analysis.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and PCB layout.
- Mechatronic hardware design and debugging using Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Logic analyzers, etc.
- Embedded systems test design and execution.
- Basic programming skills.
- Proficient in documentation and requirements capture.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with motors, sensors, and electromagnetics (EMI/EMC).
- Knowledge of digital communications protocols (CAN, LIN, SENT, I2C, SPI, etc.).
- Familiarity with Freescale, Infineon, TI, NXP processors.
- Understanding of ISO 26262 Safety Standards.
- Experience with Customer Specific CAN tools (CANalyzer, CANape).
- Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink, Excel/Visual Basic.
- Experience with Thermal Analysis Tools (e.g., Ansys, Flowtherm).
- Knowledge of IPC 610 Standards Class II and III, and other applicable IPC Standards.
Technical Competencies:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Electrical Schematic Design and Development.
- Alternatively, Masters degree plus 4/5 years of relevant industry experience.
Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
