Additionally, Elevator Inspector is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. What You'll Do
Clean parts and be able to train others with using optical cleaning processes, procedures and equipment according to instruction.
Create and maintain records or logs as required.
Maintain inventory of chemicals and supplies and signal when more needs to be purchased.
Deliver parts to next department.
Maintain work area and equipment in a neat and orderly condition.
Follow prescribed safety regulations.
Understand and follow ISO & Mil spec procedures and process routings.
Understand TQP principles and tools, participate as requested.
What You'll Bring
Proficient and able to train in cleaning & inspection of all sized optics.
Proficient and able to train with mechanical measurements.
Able to consistently repair fractures, chips, and dimple defects.
Ability to accurately use and train on microscopes.
Able to inspect and certify to ISO spec 10 / 5 and above.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Visual acuity and aptitude for handling delicate components are required.
