Elevator Installer/Repairer jobs in the United States
Elevator Installer/Repairer installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains freight and passenger elevators and escalators. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being an Elevator Installer/Repairer may be required to be certified in an area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Elevator Installer/Repairer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Elevator Mechanic at Charter Elevator. The Elevator Mechanic will be responsible for the daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of elevators. The role is primarily located in Apex, NC but allows for some remote work.
Qualifications
- Elevator Maintenance and Troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of Elevators and Electricity
- Maintenance & Repair experience
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in the elevator industry is preferred
- Relevant certifications or licenses are a plus
